Review
The Glass House in St Albans is a modern style bar halfway along Victoria Street, formally The Clanned and before that The Acorn.
Only one real ale and at the time of the visit it was served too cold. Cheesy music from juke box. Two plasma tvs showing sport.
Frequented by mainly by middle class people ranging from mid-twenties to middle-aged.
Background noise is quite loud due to acoustics of pub. Late opening until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Tapas is served between 6pm and 9pm, whilst snacks such as jacket potatoes and sandwiches are served at lunchtimes. Good selection of cocktails. Friendly welcoming bar staff.

Update Sept 2009: The Glass House is closed.
