Opened late August 2010 replacing the White Swan.
Described as a bar and restaurant.
Only two real ales available and these are rather ordinary: Spitfire and Courage Best.
A flyer states "Formally the old White Swan, Oscar's is under new management and has been tastefully refurbished, still with a traditional pub feel.
We invite you to come in and sample our fresh home cooked food and try our real ales & fine wines."

Closed. Re-opened back under its original name The White Swan.

"Oscars looks so much better than the old white swan, its still has a 'pub' feel but is a lot cleaner and much better decorated than before, the food was also delicious, home cooked and fresh.
Well worth a visit!."
