Review
The Portland Arms in St Albans is a fine traditional back street locals pub with plenty of character and atmosphere about fifteen to twenty minutes walk from the city centre.
Excellent range of Fullers real ales, usually London Pride, ESB and Chiswick with the occasional seasonal ale.
Very friendly, comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Welcoming bar staff. Good mix of people, mainly in their thirties and forties, but all ages would feel comfortable.
Meals are very tasty and cooked using food from local suppliers. Food is served until 9:30pm, except Mondays.
Occasional live music evenings
